Up for auction is a 1956 Austin-Healey 100M / LeMans conversion. Not a factory M nor a dealer installed LeMans Conversion. Restoration was done in the 80's - I have owned the car since 1990. Although an older restoration I consider the car to be very presentable with a few exceptions. Car has all the M stuff. Note in the photos there is a paint problem on the left rear fender - an area of aproximately 3 x 5. I would think this would be a straight forward repair for a shop with computer color matching. During my ownership I have replaced all hubs and wire wheels, clutch, rebuilt master cylinder and fuel pump. The cylinder head has recently been reworked with new valves, guides, seals and hardened seats. Pertronix electronic ignition is installed. The oil filter has a spin-on conversion. This involved no modification and the original parts go with the car. Surface rust on the underside of the floorpans is all I can see. I see no corrosion on the chassis. The badges do not come with the car but shop manual, owner's manual and a box of miscellaneous parts are included. The mileage indicated is most probably since the restoration was completed. A little TLC will make this a very, very nice 100. Sale is due to another project. Please email any questions before bidding. A deposit of $500 by Paypal is due at end of auction.
