Description:

wow, a total custom 1963 buick riviera, my loss is your gain, i have truied to hang onto my classic custom muscle cars, but my health has not gotten any better, i cannot do the shows any longer, and do not have the time and energy for them.. a real shame... anyway, i bought this already customized, so i can only tell you what i know. .i have not driven the car in 4 years, it does run, starts fine once warm. it will need a complete tune job, gaskets, etc gotta be dried out some. ..this isnt a trailor queen, it has some marks, dings here and there, but nothing even close to major...a good wax and buff and this will shine nice. ..there are a bunch of mods to the body. . a custom hood , custom billet grill, , , custom front, totaly different than stock, back lights have been removed and filled, the break lights and signals are led lights on each side of the liscense plate, see pic, if they blow, a simple fuse replace does the trick. ..the door handles have been shaved and door popper added, with remote... the passenger door solenoid is stuck, so the door remains open, i have tied it back so it doesnt open. .custom paint job... cost alone was over $6k...blue with flames over the hood and doors, really sharp... on the left side of the hood there are some specs in the paint, defects, not bad, but its not perfect, the nose of the hood underneath has some paint scrapes, you cant see it as it faces down, some touch up would work... passenger side has some paint by the wheel well , a scrape... nothing bad. .a few rust spots that have not eaten through, still under the paint and hasnt been eaten through. .this was a cali car west coast. ..premium tires, and chrome rims...racing style..the exhaust was relocated from the sides to the back, double with billet flame tips... awesome look...
interior- custom naturally. seats were reupholstered, not leather i dont think, but no holes, or anything, still nice. .the gauges are custom phantom...looks awesome, see pics...radio with cd player..chroem flame billett steering wheel, chrome flame gas pedal, chrome flame rear viw mirror, not pictured. ..thr trim for the inside is in the trunk, i wanted the rust free chrome looking screws, i never got around to getting them. .interior was custom painted to match also.. see pics. .some kind of custom cloth type was used for the dash, and floor, sides, etc etc...all in good shape...
about the car- it always turns heads and gets the hoots and hollars, a real head turner, . ..pretty sure its a 325 hp nailhead v8. .its what they put into these bad boys in 63. . rebuilt engine, , , less than 1500 miles when the resto was done. .i put around 100.. thats it. ..the car hop and back, lol. .cost was in the high $30'sk to do, hundreds and hundreds of man hours. ...from what i remember it took the guy about 2 years to do. .this car parted out is worth a nice haul $$$, I WOULD RATHER SELL IT LIKE SHE IS. .... . ....car has power steering, breaks, windows, there are a few things like with any classic custom car... you need a screw driver to push the latch for the hood, just put through the billett grill and push, , , , , the car has a switch located in the engine area, see pic, if you lock the keys in the car, hit the button and the window goes down...if the solenoid gets stuck theres a tab on the door panel, gets a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the tab, the door will open easyliy...make sure when you turn the car off its in the off position, if not the battery will drain over time. .. .to start the car you need to pump the gas like any old car, when idled at 1500rpm for 45 seconds, its ready to go. ..the gear pattern is backwards with these, reverse is back, sometimes you gotta do it a few times to get into gear. .. .use high octane 92 gas...oil is a valvoline zr1-20w/50. ...trunck lock works good, sometimes you need a shot of wd/40...fuse box is under dash...has a slide box... easy. ... well thats about it. .. it needs some TLC, but the engine was rebuilt, works great, power works. ...just needs about $1500 worth of love...tune up, a big time wash and wax, breaks need to be checked and bled...i do have a car cover, its in the trunk. ...if i remeber more i will put down. .
