Up for auction is a 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Concept “Cabriolet” that is a one of a kind custom featuring luxury features as envisioned and implemented by the designer, Richard Lawrence of Lawrence Engineering, Oak Park, Michigan. It features special white paint utilizing 36 coats of crushed genuine pearl with black leather upholstery, and state of the art circa 1971 mobile telephone as well as remote door, windows, starter and climate control, deep heating and massaging seats with individual controls. The 500 cu.in. motor was disassembled, re-machined and balanced when new for optimum performance. Many of these features are only now found on the finest luxury cars nearly 45 year later. The exterior incorporates the Lawrence Cabriolet Sky Roof, a distinctive, transparent, removable roof, that when removed, is an open roof with concealed roll bar and reinforced windshield. This is the only known example to have been built. It received first blace in the 1976 Detroit Autorama at the Pontiac Silverdome. It is a museum piece with only 7, 424 miles since new.
This vehicle just came out of long time storage and is still in good shape. The body is in good overall condition with only minor scuffs and blemishes from where it was stored. This car would be a great driver for someone. The car runs, drives and stops ok. When we took it out of storage we gave just gave the car a tune up, went through the fuel system and installed a new fuel pump and also went through the brake system with new master cylinder, caliper and pads so it is ready for the new owner. The Cadillac has a clean Ohio title in hand ready for transfer.

A $500.00 non-refundable deposit must be paid via paypal with in 24 hours of the close of the auction. The balance of the item must be paid for in full within 7 days after the close of the auction. The car must be paid in full by Cash in person, Money order, or wire transfer before it will be shipped or picked up.
