Datsun 2000 Fairlady 1969 very rare, runs and drives
1969 very rare Datsun 2000 Fairlady. The car runs and drives but needs some cosmetic works. The 1982 cc 135 hp engine in combination with the low weight of only 950 kg and the manual gearbox makes this car sporty and excellent driving. A good base to make this car more beautiful and even more unique.
1969 Datsun Roadster Tripple Black. Lots of new parts. New tires, carpet through out, door panels, battery, Convertible soft top. I bought this car about a month ago from the previous owner that was in the process of restoring the car.He said the engine was rebuilt and the carbs were also rebuilt. The engine runs good but it runs rich. The carbs need a final adjustment to be right.I don't know alot of the history of the car except what the previous owner told me. The car was bought back in 1971 here in Huntsville, Alabama. And He said he bought it from the original owner who owned the car from 1971 to 2014 , The car had alot of work done back in 1973-74 ( have receipts) and the car was parked in the early 1990's and sat in a garage untill about a year ago.The guy I bought it from bought the car in 2014 and had a new paint job and had the engine rebuilt and had new tires installed. The car does seem to run very good other than running a little rich. Transmission shift through all of the gears very well.
