I have decided to sell my 1971 Datsun 240Z. I purchased the car in Dec , 1985 from the original owner in REDLANDS, CA. At that time we lived in Redlands. The car was driven by myself for pleasure and to car shows and events from that time untill 2007. Since moving back to Minnesota in 2007 the car has always been garaged and only driven in the summer months. Again , only for pleasure and to car events.The Datsun still has the original engine and transmission. The car was completely repainted in Dec 2007 by a local professional Paint and Body Shop. It was repainted with the matching original color code 918.I have all the receipts from routine maintenance done on the car. The original owner also gave me his receipts for the work done by him from new untill I bought it in 1985. Tune-ups , brake work, exhaust work , shocks, and other minor repairs are all documented.The right roof quarter 240Z badge and the hood emblem badge need to be replaced. The cigarette lighter and clock are not functional. Also , the air conditioner and heater blower motor will need some attention.The car still starts and runs very well and is a pleasure to drive. Always gets many second looks and thumbs up from admiring fans!
