1971 Datsun 240z series I sport coupe. Production date of 12/70. I have owned this car since 1993. Great overall condition. No rust on floors and frame rails. L26 engine (rebuilt) with 49, xxx miles. Triple Weber DCOE 40 carbs. Electronic ignition system. Mallory distributor. Electric fuel pump. Ceramic coated headers, 2.5 inch exhaust. Motorsport Auto R134a air conditioning. Custom Reccaro seats. Roll bar. 5 speed transmission. Rear window louvre. Custom 16 inch American Racings wheels. Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustable struts. Eibach springs. 1 inch front anti sway bar, 3/4 in the rear. Many other extras.
This car has been to numerous national z car conventions over the past 22 years. I used to autocross (scca solo II) in ASP and BSP classes. This Z has been recognized as one the finest 240z's in the Midwest and was featured on the cover of the Victoria British z car parts catalog in 2001. I am a former president of the Gateway Z club in St. Louis, MO.
