Early model 1974 Datsun 260 Z meticulously restored from the frame up on a rotisserie.
Chassis: Stripped completely to bare metal. Frame rails reinforced with 1/8” channel steel; Sub-frames connected with custom made 1/8” thick steel connectors; POR15 rust proofing thru-out.
Suspension: All moving parts were replaced with new Nissan parts; Urethane bushings. Arizona Z differential mount and mustache bar; Eibach Progressive Rate springs; Tokico 5 way adjustable shocks; Three way strut tower braces; Front and rear anti sway bars.
Brakes: Fronts are Toyota 4x4 dual piston calipers; 11” discs; Kevlar pads; Rears are Nissan 240SX calipers; 11” discs; Kevlar pads; Wilwood brake proportioning system; stainless steel lines.
Zoom HD clutch and pressure plate; Tilton master and slave cylinders; HD racing scatter shield; New Tremic TKO 5 speed transmission; Pro 5.0 Shifter; HD balanced drive shaft; R-200 differential with 3.73 ratio; 300ZX trans axles.
Chevy 350 V-8. Forged crank; Hypereutectic pistons; Crane cam; solid lifters; roller rockers; 750 Holley carburetor, with electric choke; S & S full length Headers. March pulleys and brackets; Aluminum radiator and thermostatic controlled HD electric cooling fan.
Complete Painless wiring system; HID Headlights; PIAA driving, turn, running lights. LED brake, turn, running and side marker lights;
Tires are 205/60/15 B.F. Goodrich Traction Master on Koenig Rewinds.
Dual head stereo with 220 watts; 1000 watt Kenwood amplifier; 10 speakers, 2 sub woofers, 4 mid range; 4 tweeters.
Interior Features; this is really special custom interior. Retains the original Datsun look, but with contemporary materials. This is what this interior would look like if Datsun built this car today. Insulated with Fat Mat thru out; covered with two layers of fiber and foil heat and sound insulation; The seats, dash and interior panels are covered in faux leather and is all French stitched. Four point seat harnesses. Autometer Sport Comp gauges in the original locations. Custom carpet.
Only 1, 000 miles on this since the build. I’m losing my storage so several collectible cars and toys have to go. I bought this car finished as it is 4 years ago and have only put 350 miles on it since then.
This cars runs and sounds fantastic.
It DOES NOT have A/C.
The windows are the original hand crank. They did not offer power windows on the 1974 Z

This build started with just a body shell, which had a rebuilt title. It has a clear Florida title maked :rebuilt
