I’m selling my 1981 Delorean DMC-12 I'm the third owner. In 2005 this car had the Performance Upgrades. The car now has the power and sound that matches the design with this engine by Delorean Motor Center in Houston. The car is in excellent condition – looks and runs great. No mechanical problems that I am aware of but the car is being sold as is, without warranty. Please see the features listed below.

Defects: the handle to open the trunk is missing a plastic cover. (you can't see it anyways), The leather around the shifter is starting to wear and has a hole in the leather, there's a slow power leak that I was never able to find, so we put a switch behind the passenger seat (where the battery normally is) where you can flip a switch to unhook the battery if you're not going to run it for a few days. The batteries on the keys that automatically open the doors are dead. put in new batteries, touch a button, and watch the doors open...it's really Cool ! There's a super super tiny dent above one of the lights, I point it out in one of the pictures...if I didn't point it out, you'd probably never see it. The oil pressure always shows 3/4 high. The prior owner had a few people look at it, and I had 3 people look at it, and all of them say that everything seems fine. It's never been a problem for me. The original cassette/radio sounds fair, but not great.
