Here is a 1970 Dodge Challenger Trans Am (T/A): 340 six pack. The Challenger T/A's and 'Cuda AAR's were built for the sole purpose to satisfy racing rules in which homologated street versions needed to be produced and sold, similar to the '69 Charger 500, Charger Daytona and the '70 Plymouth Superbird. Lowered the Reserve slightly, almost there last time. 4-speed T/A's don't grow on trees. ...
* Top Banana Yellow with black interior
* 340 block - replacement with original T/A 340 block which is different and unique to the standard 340 blocks
* A-833 manual transmission with pistol-grip shifter ( original transmission )
* 3.55:1 Sure-grip
* 15x7 rallies with appropriate Goodyear Polyglas GT tires
* Rallye dash: completely restored
* am/fm radio: updated with new guts, sounds pretty good - rear speaker fader
* all sheet metal in great shape
* original hood
* original space saver spare with jack and air bottle
* power disc brakes
* power steering
* chin spoilers
* cranks right up and burrs great. Great running car.
* Underside is practically as clean as the top side
The reason I have it up is to eventually get a nice '69/'70 Charger R/T or '69 Charger 500 w/ 4speed, Superbird project, A12 Road Runner or optioned out '70/'71 Road Runner with air-grabber and 4speed. Trade would be of consideration as well for the right car. The T/A is a REALLY nice car, I'm just a B-body sort of fella, more specifically Chargers and Road Runners.
