Up for auction is this 1953 Dodge Military ambulance with 401 AMC Nailhead motor. Warn manual lock out front hubs.
Turbo 400 auto tranny. 3 speed automatic. Motor and tranny have less than 10, 000 miles (Drive trail mileage is 43, 601).
It starts and runs, but will need some TLC.
The transfer case, front and rear axles are good. Missing front drive shaft; rear drive shaft is good.
I couldn't find an M number but there is an Assigned California Control Number of 209702 (in addition to the VIN)
This truck is a little rusty, tires need air/replaced, etc, due to being stored for decades. Hasn't been moved in 15 years.
I'd planned on restoring it myself, but time, money and family didn't allow it!
So I want this to go to a good owner to restore it to its beauty!
