This one-of-a-kind 1959 Edsel Corsair SKYCRUISER retractable convertible is sitting comfortably on a '59 Ford Skyliner chassis. This is a custom built vehicle. Built 15 (??) or so years ago, it has a few minor blemishes, but often wins trophies for us. It has its original rebuilt 361 engine with a new 4-barrel carburetor, a rebuilt 3-speed / 2-stage Fordomatic transmission, new DISC brakes up front and a new brake booster, new radial tires, new exhaust, tons of new steering and suspension components, new starter, alternator, solenoid, ignition switch, AC compressor bushings, and the power steering has been rebuilt. Interior is like new. It has a working driver's side spotlight-mirror, a town & country radio, and tinted glass. All wheel covers have been restored. It starts and runs great, and drives and rides wonderfully. The top works like a charm. Note: the odometer no longer works, and the clock rarely works.
