This 308 GTS was purchased new at Agar Enterprises INC in Paoli PA. by Mr.PritchHe owned the car for a few years until selling it to a Lawyer in New York.in 1999 the car was traded in, and then sold by Forza in Gaylordsville CTin 1999 Mr.Barbour Purchased the car with 7960 miles from Forza in 2011 Mr.Barbour put the car on consignment at Ferrari of Atlanta in September 2011 Mr.Richards Purchased the car from Ferrari of Atlanta with 11, 803 miles Mr.Richards has recently decided to downsize and sell the car, the odometer now shows 15, 700 miles
I have the original invoice and documents supporting the low mileage.
The Ferrari 308 is simply a wonderful work of art, being the desirable Carbureted model it has such a wonderful sound.This car retains much of its factory originality, the paint is mostly original, all factory seam sealer is present. there is much patina in the form of crazing and checking due to the old original Lacquer paint. still retains a nice shine and reflective lookThe drivers side seat shows nice wear consistent with old original italian leather, the passenger side seat shows nicely, and dash, center console, headliner, and all other surfaces are in nice condition.
The Mechanicals are superb, the 4 Webber carburetors are perfectly synchronized and the car starts with no hesitation or sputtering. No smoke or missing at all. The clutch is new & I have many mechanical service and part records. Last major service was done at around 9, 000 miles at Sport Auto in Gaylordsville CT, and considering the time since the major service, It would be wise to have another done.
There is no evidence of rust, or collision damage.
The car also retains the original and complete tool roll, jack, battery tender, Factory books and manuals
