I have up for sale my 1967 Scout 800. It's in good condition but will need some work to be an everyday driver. Engine is the 196 cubic inch 4 cylinder with 3-speed manual transmission and Dana 20 transfer case. Dana 27 front differential and Dana 44 rear with power lock. Engine has a new fuel/vacuum pump, fresh rebuilt 1-barrel Holley carburetor and new spark plugs. I do not have the stock air cleaner. It starts, sounds and runs good. It has new rear wheel cylinders and rebuilt front wheel cylinders, brakes are adjusted and work good.All gauges work with the exception of the right fuel tank(has dual switchable tanks), the sending unit wire stud is broken off.The fuel tank holds fuel and switches just no gauge .The dash has been cut for a radio but does not currently have one.The blower fan and heat/defroster work, all exterior lights, dash lights, dimmer and signals work as well as the horn.The back up lights work but are missing the glass lenses. The vacuum wipers also work OK.Body is in fair condition and has a few rust spots here and there but the only places I see that are through are the saddle fuel tank skids and rear of bed near the tailgate .Also, someone has installed green outdoor carpet in floor. It has painted red at some point with what looks like spray paint, there's a sizable dent in the drivers fender continuing on through the drivers door. The scout is equipped with sliding window doors and is missing the window frames, I have the four pieces of glass but no frames or mounting hardware. Tires are dry rotted and will need to be replaced to be safely driven. All in all, its a pretty solid good running scout, that with minimal work could be really nice.
