What started as an engine overhaul, resulted in a fairly complete restoration of this 1948 International KB-6 Dump Flatbed truck. Oh well. The good news it is DONE now, and ready to go to work on your farm or vineyard. Complete engine overhaul and mechanical restoration, new oak bed, beautiful new paint and upholstery, all electrical. This is gorgeous truck that we use on the farm, and in parades in Sullivan County, NY State, approximately 2 hours North of Manhattan. The Blue Diamond 251 cubic-inch 6 cylinder engine starts easily, and purrs all day without overheating. The Warner T-97A 4-speed transmission shifts perfectly, and is linked to an Eaton 2-speed rear end. Engine produces 100 horsepower at 3200 rpm, and is super reliable. Only driven a couple hundred miles since total reconditioning. Cool features include the crank-out windshield (thats the air conditioning), and nice teardrop lights on the cab. Cowcatcher included. 2 Parts trucks also available.
