Price: US $23,500.00

Description:

Up for sale is an amazing 1965 International Scout 80. I am a collector of 1960s Scout 80s and this one is by far the cream of the crop. This Scout was traded into a classic car dealer from its original owner, where I purchased it and became the second owner. I'm on to the next toy so time to let her go! This Scout is a clean, straight, rust-free, well maintained and original classic car.
I would rate this Scout a 9 out of 10 without any shimmy or shake. She shifts smoothly, steers tight and brakes well. This is a one of a kind, wonderful condition Scout 80 and has Antique Classic Car Status as rated by State Farm. One of the best features is the fold down windshield that gives you the safari look, which was discontinued in late 1965. Please checkout all pictures and see for yourself at how clean this Scout is. An additional 75 high res pictures are available upon request.

A bit about this 1965 Scout 80:
The original owners of this Scout were from outside of Philadelphia, PA and purchased the vehicle new on August 30, 1965 (a copy of the Line Setting Ticket is also included with all of the paperwork). From what I understand from the original owners, this Scout was their family camp car and enjoyed into the early 1980s. After not getting much use, it was then traded into a classic car dealership, where I purchased it from and shipped it out west, where it has lived since. You can see by the many pictures that this Scout has been greatly cared for greatly and serviced regularly.
