Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very decent MK2 Saloon for restoration. This car left the factory in one of the most breathtaking color schemes: Opalescent Golden Sand with Red Leather trim, fitted with a 3.4 Liter engine, chrome wire wheels, and the desirable 4-speed overdrive gearbox. At some point in it's life, the engine was upgraded with the top-of-the-line 3.8 Liter unit. This car was just purchased from it's long term Southern California owner who owned it for the past 32 years, with it's last CA registration sticker from 1985.
The car is fairly original with some minor disassembly started. It appears complete except for the rear bumper and the 'screen finishers. The body on the car is very decent, straight, with only some minimal rust for being a RHD car. The car includes 3 or 4 boxes of accompanying parts that were removed from the car, but all the parts are there with some extras, including the original jack. The car is currently fitted with 3.8 Liter engine # KG4255-8. The oil in the engine is clean and up to the mark. The engine is free and turns, but no attempt has been made to start it. It may even run with a few hours of work...
Overall, a desirable high-specification MK2 destined to return to a RHD market, it has spent a lot of it's dry life in sunny Southern California. It now awaits restoration back to it's spectacular original color scheme.

Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information
: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.

In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
