07 JAGUAR XK CONVERTIBLE
This is an absolutely gorgeous Jaguar XK Convertible. It has the best color combination available (you can buy another one in a different color combo and look at it every day wishing you had bought the right combo, with the right wheels, like this one, and it will bother you every day). It looks and drives amazing. Tons of recent work to make it that way. The top is brown and in good condition, no leaks. The wheels are amazingly beautiful, and were a $5k option. It drives fantastic.
The seller told me the car had been fully repaired and ran great. However, upon arrival, I found numerous missing parts. So, after buying the car, I had my mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb. In so doing, we put in a new radiator, radiator fans, hoses, and belts. All OEM. Also changed all filters, oil, serviced the transmission, air conditioner charged and had it tuned. I bought it last October and have put about 9, 000 problem free miles on the car.
In addition to the mechanical, all cosmetic pieces that were missing have been replaced with OEM new pieces, including engine compartment covers, clips, wheel well skirts, and underbody skid pieces. I also added the rear seat wind screen. Since buying the car, I have spent about $8, 000 to make sure it runs and looks great. I have no concerns driving it anywhere and neither should you.
A new air bag was fitted, but the dash still shows slight separation in area, if you take the dash cover off. There is also a very small chip in the front windshield. Also, shown in one photo is a small flap just behind the drivers side to cover an opening when the top goes down that needs to be pulled into place manually (everything is intact, but I haven't taken to a body shop to have them attach for automatic closing, like on passenger side).It has Sirius radio, which I use. CD player had a CD jamb, which I have not repaired.
I bought the car with a rebuildable/salvage title from Texas. Here in California, after inspection, they issued a clean title...a copy of which I have attached. However, a car history review will still show it having had the rebuildable/salvage title at some point (I redacted my name and exact address on the title, but car is located in Oak Park, Ca. 91377)
Having put over $8, 000 into the car since purchase, I would drive it anywhere without worry. I welcome any inspection. I am located just outside the San Fernando Valley/L.A. I overestimated mileage, as I continue to drive the car, but expect mileage to be less at point of sale. I am selling as I bought the car as a toy during my divorce and current finances dictate a different direction for me.
