Own a piece of history! This M715 runs great with the original 230 Tornado inline 6 and 4-speed transmission. It is street legal. Yes, it leaks oil, it is my understanding that all 230 Tornados do (old Jeeps mark their territory). 4H/4L works. New tires. Recently rebuilt alternator. 24-volt electrical with newer AGM batteries (2). Odometer reads 33k but does not work. Speedometer and oil pressure gauges work but other gauges do not. No visible rust except for a little behind the seat (see photos). The paint is flat/gritty OD green, inside and out. It is not a flawless professional paint job, it looks like it was painted by brush at some point (not uncommon for old military vehicles). To my knowledge, the only parts that are not original are the tires, batteries, electric fuel pump/filter/regulator, spark plug wires and paint. The vacuum pump is not connected so the wipers are manually operated.
This truck is great as it is but could be turned into a show/parade truck or an awesome rock crawler. This truck turns heads everywhere it goes. It has a tough military look in a package that fits in a standard garage. I've seen non-running M715s or ones needing major body work going for $3-4, 000 and fully restored ones for $15-20, 000+. This truck falls somewhere in between.
Payment in full due in cash or cashiers check at delivery. Buyer must pick up in Monett, MO no later than November 29th. Top speed is 52 MPH so bring a trailer unless you are local. I can deliver within 75-miles.
