This is the Defender 90 we are all looking for. Complete frame off restoration delivered new from the UK in February 2016. Built to my custom specifications with an emphasis on traditional components with added modern creature comforts. All work done by mechanics in England who only rebuild defenders. The truck is flawless. The attention to detail and finish work is all top marks.
The rebuilt V8 is the Land Rover original famous for its durability and longevity. This is a truck you will run for many years if you take care of it. The 5000 mile break-in period is complete and the motor purrs. Creature comforts include: A/C, heated leather seats, stereo with CD and built-in Bluetooth, extensive sound-proofing, and single full rear flip down seat. Custom expedition roof rack comes complete with Hi-Lift jack and multiple other accessories. Everything on the truck works perfectly.
The Buy It Now price is what the truck cost me. I am not looking to make money on the process. The starting price is $60K with no additional reserve price. Bottom line is I have a baby on the way and it just isn't going to work as our everyday family car. Happy to answer questions and please feel free to have a mechanic of your choice look it over. For added confidence, the shop in England has agreed to cover any major mechanical issues for a full year which ends February 2017. Just completed the 5000 mile oil change and tune-up. The truck is a 1990 which is why it was allowed to be imported legally into the US (all original paperwork included). I have the truck titled and registered in South Dakota to save on sales tax and for easy registration renewals. It lives and drives daily in SF Bay Area. You can title the truck in any state you choose. I have obtained car insurance without any difficulty as well.
