This car has been listed, and sold, multiple times on eBay. However, due to a few cancelled sales, it has been re-listed. Please check with your wife before purchasing this (or anything for that matter). Please do not bid on, or purchase the car if you cannot, or do not, intend on paying for it, it's unfair to the seller and other possible bidders!!
Please respect that this car is almost 50 years old, so it's nearly impossible for it to be perfect, however, this is a very high quality car. This car has not been restored or rebuilt, because it has never needed to be. The car has always been garaged, and never driven in the winter! Original parts, paint, interior, etc. This car is extremely rare.
This is a very nice Continental, inside and out. The interior looks and feels brand new, and all the bells and whistles still function (radio, clock, POWER windows and POWER locks). The Power seat motor for the driver seat may need some work, but it does function.
Being nearly 50 years old, it does have rust. We had a third-party professional inspection of the car, and it noted that RUST NOTED CONSISTENT WITH AGE OF VEHICLE. Yes, the car has rust, however besides the rust on the exhaust system, the rust is what you would expect on a 48 year old car that has been garaged for it's lifetime. The car runs and drives beautifully, however, it does need some exhaust work. For any collectors out there, you will know that the exhaust system is not a huge repair, and will not diminish the value or appeal of this car. This car is 100% original, so for it to only need the exhaust is a testament to it's quality.
It has been kept in a garage for as long as I've owned it (40 years), and is part of an extensive car collection so it has not been taxed with high mileage over the years.
This car has been started, driven, cleaned and maintained for as long as I've owned it. It's not driven daily, however, all of our cars are started, and run, and driven around the block at least once a month.
Pictures don't do this car a justice, it really is a special car.

Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 3 business days of the close of auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Should the buyer back out of the sale after the deposit has been submitted, the buyer has forfeited the deposit. This is just to ensure that the buyers of our vehicle are serious. We are reasonable sellers, so if there are extenuating circumstances, we do reserve the right to refund the buyer, at our discretion.
