Hello I have my restored Miata. I wanted a Miata that was in near new condition in a 90-97 bodystyle. I loved these as a kid and I had a principe that had one. I got one and had it restored to near mint condition. This car gets attention. I took it to a car show yesterday and it got a lot of attention. The modifications on this car are all reversible to a oem look in 20 minutes. I have all the oem stuff.
Interior,
The interior is 10/10 You may say no way but the photos will blow your mind. The seats where just redone and they where done in leather not vinyl. The interior looks brand new. Carpet is perfect and it even has the original floormats which are 8/10. The only flaw on the interior is under the windshield has a few cracks that I don't personally see them or notice them. The only mod I did to the interior is I put a mazda Miata Canadian steering wheel in the car in which I find better looking and fits me better being taller. The steering wheel was properly installed. No half ass hack job. The USA-OEM wheel can be put back in. The trunk inside looks as if the day it rolled off the line brand new it's all carpet including the sides.
Exterior,
Brand new very glossy paint job, The tail lights are even shiny not dull like they tend to get in the az* sun. The convertible top is also a brand new tan unzip. New upgraded headlights. They where updated to the halogen ones from auto-zone so they look oem but perform better. The oem wheels and tires I was told had around 900 miles on them when I got the car. The BBS wheels (Pictured) have only driven it 230 Miles on them since I got it. The exterior lights on the car have all been updated to smd' Led's. The car has the original tan tonneau cover.
Engine,
I polished the valve cover, exhaust shield and afm to look better than oem. * New* Plugs, Wires, Timing belt, Coilpack, Fuel filter, Thermostat, O2 Sensor, Tensioner, Waterpump, Valve cover gasket, Catalytic converter a bolton testpipe is on there now being these cars drive so much better without the cat on. I have the other cat to be bolted on.
The pictures you will see the car has a few modifications done to it. The mods I made. I made sure they where all the modifications where 100% reversible without any damage to the car due to the fact of the car being very rare in this condition.
These mods done where done so the car can be reversed back to oem in less than 30 minutes these are all done as stated.
Turnsignal intakes, Have original lights still in mint glossy condition.
Front bumper lights are the clear smoked lights. Have the original ones still glossy and mint.
Front airdam, Side diffusers, Rear airdam can be removed.
Wheels can be taken off and the oem ones can be put back on with 900 or so miles on them tires. The new wheels on the car have less than 300 miles on them.
Tall rear mudlfaps can be removed.
BAD*
The only bad thing with the car is the cam seals and valve cover gasket where changed out when the mechanic put the valve cover gasket on and it did not seat right on the driver side cam seal being he rolled the gasket (You get what I'm talking about?). So it leaked oil on the engine. I still get a few drips here and there. The oil has not went down at all since I changed out the valve cover gasket and I have put on about a 110 miles on it. The car will need a new battery soon.
I am selling this because I am getting older now in my mid 30's and i am 6.2 and I need a bigger car now. I was hit the last week of December on the freeway by a camry in my other car and my back is just killing me. I could do a Foamectomy but I cant get myself to cut the seats apart The seats are so soft and nice and I feel guilty modifying it. This car will go up in value. I was told by the saguaro miata club stock this is worth 6.000-6.500 and then however the parts fall can make it worth more depending how your style is what I was told.
