I bought this car to fix for my son when he turns 16. I drove over 70 miles home free on the separate tank filled with clean used veggie oil. Unfortunately, Once I started taking the car apart to clean the carpets and interior, I realized that the right passenger side in particular is laden with rust as seen in the pictures. The biggest area being underneath the battery tray and near the passenger right side kick panel (shown in photos). The rear wheel well also has rust as does underneath the trunk trays of which I began to cut away to bare metal with a rotary tool. This much body work is far beyond my scope and I am going to try to find something else for my son. The car is drivable and can be driven home upon purchase.
In the meantime I will describe the rest of the car as accurately as possible
The Good:
1. Engine has good compression and runs strong.
2. The turbo works!
3. Has been retro-fitted with a $1200 grease car conversion kit with glow mechanism in the tank which wars the oil up. This car can run virtually free on used veggie oil (55 gallon filtration pump station and around 40 gallons of clean veggie fuel included). I also drove from Salem to Danville (100 miles) for free a couple of weeks ago.
4. Separate functional diesel tank included.
5. You could drive over 1000 miles on one fill up (20 gallon diesel tank and 15 gallon veggie fuel tank).
6. All the parts to the car are there and many doubles are included (i.e. 2 sets of OEM floor trays, rubber trim for bottom door panels and windows, two complete sets of seats, and much more).
7. New brake pads, front wheel bearings.
The Bad:
1. It has a lot of rust on the passenger side of the car. You could either cut the rust out and repair or patch over and drive until the wheels fall off!2. Need to bleed brakes (they work, but the pedal should be firmer).
Additional Information:
You will be getting a ton of parts (many not shown) not to mention the grease car kit with instructions if you buy.
Also Included:1. Two trunk mats2. 4 trunk plastic wheel well liners3. Wood trim4. Extra electrical switches5. Spare tire jack6. Mercedes 123 Haynes manual7. Two sets of trim and door sills8. Everything is there and then some (more parts) to completely put the car back together.
This car could be driven home and does not need to be towed.
Clear title in hand!

“This car has a strong engine and transmission as well as a $1200 Grease Car ™ Kit that is fully operational. It also comes with a bunch of extra parts as well as a 55 Gallon Oil Drum and approximately 30-40 Gallons of clean filtered veggie oil. Car has separate veggie tank and regular diesel tank which work independent of one another. The passenger side does have a lot of rust and will need some serious welding and/or patching. Certainly not a show car!” |
