This 1968 1st generation Mercury Cougar is a ONE owner all original car. Bought brand new from Moyer Lincoln Mercury in Frederick MD on October 4th 1968. The vehicle has never been out of Frederick in its nearly 48 years. Only 80892 thousand miles on the clock making this a low mileage offering as well.
The car starts right up, idles, drives, steers and stops with no problem. Vehicle not full of bondo but has rust in the usual places including the floor pans. The interior is relatively intact and all lighting works. This car has a great set of bones for a restoration.
All original paperwork comes with purchase such as its one and only title, retail delivery card, dealer invoice and owners manual. Also included are many receipts for its one paint job in 1987 at Lawsons Auto Craft (still in business), rear package tray repair in 1978 at Joes Upholstery (still in business) and for general maintenance and repairs throughout its life.

I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit through Paypal within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Payment in full is due within 7 days of close of auction.
