I am the second owner of this very well maintained van. Inspection is good until 06/16. The first owner had it serviced by the dealer and I have continued a stellar preventive maintenance regiment. I changed the oil every 3 to 4 thousand miles with a synthetic blend 5w/20 premium oil.
Tires are Firestone Affinity with less than 8000 miles on them. New generator, Battery, Serpentine belt, master cylinder with new brake fluid this month. New Struts, Strut mounts, Rear shocks, Rt lower control arm w/ball joint, front brake pads and sway bar links, spark plugs, Ignition wires with coils, fuel filter, Air and cabin filters and rear hatch pistons this year. I have all receipts.
The transmission was replaced by previous owner due to a leak in the wiper cowling the poured water onto the transmission computer ruining both. Replaced 4/10/14 with 132379 miles. The problem that caused the failure was fixed. You get a Jasper transmission with 9, 000 miles on it.
This car is loaded with options. It is all leather. Power locks, windows , Sliding doors, side view mirrors, driver and passenger seats, heated front seats, fold in floor back seat, removable tumble forward middle seats, Individual climate control for driver passenger, rear air and rear and cruise control. Dash information center, compass and outside temp indicator.
This is a strong great running vehicle with an excellent ride. It was Mercury's top of the line offering. I would drive it to California and back without hesitation.
