1969 Mercury Marquis Convertible with a 320 horsepower 7.0L 429 Engine and automatic transmission. Very fast for a cruiser. Tons of power and is still surprisingly good on gas mileage. This car was fully restored eight years ago. It was driven for three years and then been in storage the last five. Beautiful red paint that is very presentable but does have a few chips here and there that have been covered up. The interior is in exquisite condition. Carpet is wonderful. Seats are wonderful. Convertible top is in perfect condition but is a little dirty. Runs and drives great. Power steering and power brakes. Disk brakes in front and drum in back. The front right brake is catching. Very easy and cheap fix. Engine runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly. True dual exhaust and it sounds mean. It does have A/C but it needs the band put on it. There is NO RUST on this car. All panels and floorboards are original and in wonderful condition. Quarter panels are solid, Floorboards are solid, Trunk is solid, and the rest of the car is solid. The tires do have some surface rust. The switch for the hydraulics is not working. The driver side window won't go up. The passenger windows both work like they should. All lights work. Headlights, break lights, turn signals and brights all work perfectly. Window wipers work. This car doesn't need much to be perfect. This is a true classic car and they are becoming more rare by the day. Going up in value fast. Just in time for summer! This convertible gets looks, comments, waves and thumbs up everywhere!
