Up for sale is this beautiful 1950 Mercury that I have owned since 1995. Some of the restoration that I have had done is Medium Toridor paint in 2000. The Paint is a Ford color that is on the Taurus and the Ford Pickup. Next up was the gorgeous white leather interior and carpeting. I had the side chrome buffed out and the bumpers rechromed. The engine bay was freshened up and wiring was changed to 12 volt Painless Wiring. I decided to add air conditioning which I figured would be used during summer months anyway, proved to be a wonderful decision. The Vintage air really cools things down in a hurry and works perfectly. All in all have really enjoyed this Beauty but feel that I just wasn't driving it enough. The kids had baseball and now they are wanting to go to the Lake or other things. You will not be disappointed. | “There are no issues with this gem, engine or interior. It does have a mark up near the hood where the hood came down and put a scratch on it. There is also a spot on the drivers side rear quarter where the paint didn't take right as shown in the pictures. The vehicle was painted in 2000 but never changed or got any worse so I just left it alone. It also won best of paint in the only show I entered.” |
