I have an absolutely amazing Mercury Zephyr Z7 sport coupe for sale. I purchased this car from the original owner a couple of years ago with just over 50K documented miles. I have all paperwork including bill of sale and original window sticker. This is a rust free Texas car, garage kept its whole life. I have receipts for the majority of the parts and labor invested. The car starts every time and drives great. Except for the AC (all there never touched or troubleshot) everything works, radio, heat and even the Cruise Control! The interior of this car is in amazing condition and is very close to mint. Could be mistaken for only being 5 years old. Has been garage kept it entire life and has been in Texas. Currently the car has the factory 2.3L and 3 speed auto however it will come with a complete 5.0L, T5 transmission and everything needed for the swap. The K member is the same for V8 and 4 cylinder cars making an engine swap a bolt in exercise. This has been a father son project for the past few years and we have replaced all steering, suspension, brakes and recently swapped and rebuilt the rear end. Our goal has been to convert this car to 87+ 5.0L Mustang specs. We have spared no expense in building this car. The car is extremely tight, no shakes or rattles and brakes/ handles like Mustang GT should. We are only selling the car as we found a classic Mustang at a price we could not pass up on. Gear Heads Performance completely rebuild the 8.8 rear end with 3.55 gear, Ford Posi-traction, 31 spline axles and a Shelby Cobra rear differential cover. They also welded in a set of custom sub-frame connectors. I had the Drivers side fender restored as we were getting the car setup for a complete paint job over the winter before swapping the drivetrain.
This is an amazing car and gets lots of attention. All the hard parts are there to complete the EFI 5.0L and T5 conversion. With the drivetrain swap this would be an absolute blast to drive and would definitely standout in a crowd. I have a lot more pictures if needed or if local come and see it for yourself.
