Offered for sale, by KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very pretty MGA Roadster. This car has benefited from a total, ground-up, body-off-the-chassis restoration about 7 years ago and is still presenting very nicely. The general overall condition of the car is very good to excellent, and it appears that nothing was overlooked during it's rebuild.
The car was completely stripped down to the bare body and chassis, with all panels being removed. Quality bodywork and paint was then applied. The chromework was completely renewed, as well as all of the rubber items. The windshield was replaced with a new item. A useful luggage rack was installed on the trunk lid. A new wiring harness was fitted and the instruments were sent out for rebuild, which are all functioning properly. The car's underdash is very nice and correct. It's engine bay presents very well and original.
The quality Moss Motors interior trim is completely new including correct tan leather seats and armrest. The dashboard was correctly painted body color. The new panel trim kit and carpet kit matches the seat upholstery. There are rubber floormats fitted in the footwells to protect the carpets. The cloth top is new and suits the car very well. There is also the correct sidecurtain stowage bag fitted, but currently no sidecuratins. It is fitted with matching seat belts.
It appears that everything was mechanically rebuilt. The car starts on the button with fantastic oil pressure, zero smoke or noises, revs healthily and goes happily down the road. It runs, stops, steers, shifts, brakes, and handles as expected. The gearbox is very nice and smooth-shifting, with perfect clutch action. The car is fitted with a set of 4 upgraded 60-spoke stainless wire wheels. The exhaust system is new and sounds wonderful. The car's undercarriage is very sanitary and correct, as one would expect from a ground-up restoration. The car drives solidly and rattle-free like a good MGA should...
Overall, a great looking A 1500 Roadster in a very attractive color scheme. This car represents good value when one considers the price of a donor car and current restoration costs. Very well priced at $27, 950.

Title Information
: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
