Own a piece of history. This meticulously maintained MG has been loved, and maintained like no other. I have original receipts from 1996-2012 as proof. Literally $18, 483 worth of receipts. From paint to tune ups. This car was loved. When I got it for my wife I tuned up, and replaced all the things that could go wrong (but worked) Brakes mainly. After my work the car purred like a dream. Car is fast, responsive, and reliable. Looks great on the road. A true head turner. With it silver roll bar, and racing stripes. It looks cool. I had plans on completing the cosmetic interior restoration, but life got in the way. The paint is clean. Small chip (in photo), and some swirl marks which are unnoticeable when waxed. The only thing left to be done would be upholsterer the seats, all cosmetic stuff in the interior. I had seat covers on it. Which made it look restored. But if you want it all the way. It could use new seats/carpet. As a classic car it only cost me $89.00 year in NJ to insure. Making it affordable to own. All of the heavy lifting has been done with this car. Mechanically it has zero issues. Starts right up, and zips away. It has been parked in my garage for years. ZERO oil leaks, I would have noticed. When I say this car has been cared for I mean it. Normally people say, To well maintained to list, in this case I mean it. I have taken a photo of the stack of original receipts demonstrating the maintenance an upgrades done to it over the years. It shows. This car has never failed to start, and handles the road like a champ. Thankfully, all of the cosmetic repairs left are interior. So from the road, it looks cherry. I got this as a fun weekend car for my wife, but our schedules changed. I am selling it for simple lack of time. But it is ready to hit the road, and impress. I am selling the car as is. It is a classic from 1974 so it has some of the features you would expect from a old car. Most of which are evident in the interior. It has a small section of paint chipped off from me. Also, as mentioned there are some light swirl marks on the hood which are unnoticeable when well waxed (they could be buffed out for sure) I doubt they are even visible in the photos. It is not a fully restored car. The restoration money has been spent toward the mechanics of the car, and the exterior. These cars are holding there value great. If you spent the time finishing the last 10% of the restoration you can have a true show car on your hands. Feel free to call me with any questions. Car in located at my home in Hunterdon County NJ. If your local I would be happy to show it off. I got it from a long time owner in CA, and had it shipped. Which can always be nerve racking. I can tell you I was elated when it rolled of the car carrier. I have only improved it since then. If you have any specific areas of the car you would like me to take photos of, just let me know. * 908-763-5982 - CODY * Having lived the bulk of its life in CA, it has little rust for a car of its age. And in my ownership it was kept in my climate controlled garage. The car is convertible, the top has a small hole in it, but operates fine. It also comes with the Hard Top which is in good shape. Also there is a dime size chip in the windshield. Taken as a whole, this classic car looks awesome on the road.
Open To Trades:
If you are considering presenting me with a trade offer. I am open, but have some requirements. The car must be a classic 4 seater. Or large coupe. I am looking for a classic that fits my explanding family. The MG is awesome, but only fits two. I would expect it shares the same attributes as my trade. The car must start and drive, and be considered something that could be driven daily. NO massive mechanical flaws. So far as cosmetics are concerned. Please send me over some photos, or give me a call to discuss. Again, I am fully open to trades. Just have them be reasonable trades. Thanks. Good luck. Happy Bidding.
