We really love this car. It's a father son project that won't work for the class we want to run in (too new), so we've decided to buy another, much older MGB GT. We've worked hard on getting it stripped, painted (presentable, not great), shifting, stopping and running.
Small leak near transmission - I've not investigated yet as to the source -- no ticking - or smoking - but want to disclose as much as I can think of.
This car was pulled out of a barn and has not run in over 30 years. Car runs, steers, and stops. This is a race car project being built for a specific class until we found that the year is too new for the class we wanted to run in (it was on the fence and the decision didn't go our way). So, we're picking up a new project. Our loss, your gain as they say. The paint is just to make it presentable, and dings. Interior is stripped! No bumpers. Dash and all gauges are in the car. A really nice example. No rust that we've seen. It will still need the brakes replaced (new kit comes with the car) The broken hydraulics were all replaced. Master clutch was good, but comes with replacement. Slave was replaced, master brake, ... clutch, flywheel, alternator, carb, T/O bearing, ... all replaced.
I don't have a title, just the bill of sale from the previous owner. As this was going to be a race car, I wasn't too worried. You will receive a bill of sale from me.
It's out of the DMV system - comes with its original CA blue-plates. No bumpers.
The decals are just stickers which a hair dryer can remove
Here's the video of it starting, driving, stopping.

Let me know if you have any questions. Don't hesitate to ask. The front window needs to be replaced, there's a crack in it.
Also, a question came to me about the floors -- They're solid. Trunk is solid too. And there's no rust, that I've seen, in the usual MGB places, like wings and such... Really a solid car.On Jun-25-15 at 13:19:19 PDT, seller added the following information:One more thing -- The door's ding isn't a hole. It's not very deep actually, the reflection and lack of light in the center makes it look like a bullet hole. It's not. Just wanted to clarify!
