MGB GT V6 Special,

A high performance BGT with the added luxury of a full fabric sunroof
In their day, in England, these cars were known as ‘the poor man’s Aston Martin’ and, in this car’s case, a really special higher performance GT.
Engine: a professionally installed 150hp modified 2.8 liter Ford Capri engine, 4bbl carb, custom headers, Bosch alternator, free flow exhaust, runs very well, pulls strongly through the rev range, runs cool, no vibrations or banging, feels ‘factory.’
Which, of course, it isn’t. But with more than 50% more power than a stock B. Rebuilt Mustang II 4 speed transmission and narrowed (VERY strong) Ford back axle…with its 3.09 final drive, makes a 5th gear redundant……cruises quietly at 2, 500 rpm at 60 mph.
Excellent body with very good Blaze red paint, beautiful Webasto fabric sunroof, very clean interior, excellent floor pan, clean engine bay, 15”modular alloy wheels with 185/70 radials, gas shocks, new windshield and seal, oil cooler, high output electric cooling fan, new Sony stereo/CD with USB input.
All in all, a wonderful classic that has a lot of performance, excellent ride and handling, a precise ‘feel’ and easily maintained and serviced.
