1972 Red MGBGT
This car has been well cared for through the years. The body has no rust. It had a small rust hole in the driver’s side floor pan which was cut out and replaced with new metal. The body is very straight and has never been wrecked. It could use a paint job but the car looks great as is. It runs and drives wonderful.
The car has lots of new parts all of which have recently been installed by a professional with over 45 years experience dealing in English Cars. New parts include a clutch assembly, clutch hydraulics, rear brakes, all brake flex hoses, brake master cylinder, new radiator and all new cooling hoses. While installing the new clutch I put a new front seal in the transmission.
The interior has mostly been restored. New seats and new dash cover. New carpet kit. The door panels are a little rough but not too bad.
Wiring harness is in excellent condition. Tires are in good condition. All electricals work perfectly.
The engine only has about 30, 000 miles on it since a professional rebuild. It has just been serviced with oil change, valve adjustment, tune-up with Pertronix Electronic ignition and Sport Coil as well as carburetor overhaul. All fluids have recently been changed including the differential.
The suspension is in great shape and the transmission shifts perfectly.
NOTE: Title is stated as CLEAR. This car does not have a title. In the state of Alabama a car prior to 1975 is not required to have a title. All that is required is a Bill of Sale and a Tag Receipt. If purchased for out of state an affidavit from the county Court House will be provided.
