1980 MG MGB Limited Edition

MG MGB Limited Edition (1980)
for sale

Price: US $7,999.00

Description:

I am selling a 1980 MGB, limited edition. The car is in very good condition. It is not a 100 point show car. It is a nice #3 (driver) car. According to Hagerty Insurance, the average market value for a 1980 MGB is $9346 (as of Dec. 2014). This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to close this auction early.
Exterior
Black limited edition with the silver stripes.
Car was rust proofed when purchased new, minimal rust issues which all appear to be cosmetic.
Two spots of corrosion showing above each of the rear wheel openings
One dime sized spot of corrosion in the middle of the lower side sill.
Small spot of corrosion in the center of the driver side floor.
Trunk and under the hood are very solid.
Car does have a luggage rack, 5 limited edition wheels, and fog lamps that function,
Convertible tops is in decent shape and does not leak. Some of the hardware is missing and/or hard to use.
Tires appear to be in good condition, with plenty of tread. Tires were on the car when I purchased it so their age is unknown.

Interior

Tan colored interior in very good condition.
No large tears, rips or cuts. Driver side seat back does have one small tear and the passenger seat bottom does have a small cigarette burn.
All gauges, lights and switches function as intended.
Carpets are tan and slightly faded. Very presentable.
Dash is in great shape , no cracks or tears.
Heater and defroster operates great and as designed.
Car does have an air conditioning system installed. This a/c system is not operational at the present time. All component installed on the car. The refrigerant lines need to be replaced and the A/C charged. I did not repair this system because I would hardly use it. This A/C system can be repaired.
Car presently does not have a radio installed. The some wiring and mounting hardware are present.
