1979 MGB convertible, mechanically excellent, only 35, 000 original miles: new reinforced intake/exhaust manifold, new muffler & exhaust, new 12-inch electric radiator cooling fan (behind radiator, replaces original dual fans in front of radiator), new oil pan & gasket, new oil filter & oil change, new valve cover & engine side access panel (2) gaskets, new vacuum lines, new tune-up (plugs, wires, cap & rotor), valves & timing adjusted; new clutch & throwout bearing; new gas tank, new fuel level sending unit, new lifetime warranty electric fuel pump, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, rebuilt & tuned carburetor; new battery, new relays & wiring, new ignition switch & steering column harness, refurbished wiring (connectors cleaned or replaced); newer alloy wheels & tires (original MGB wheels included), new brake shoes & pads; brand new convertible top, newer car cover.
Excellent driver, runs and handles like new. Recent meticulous mechanical restoration. Paint is decent for original, only one serious flaw is a small 1.5 crack in door that has been fixed and just needs smoothed and painted. A paint job would make this a $10, 000+ classic car.
