Excellent Restored Driver MGB. Most MG Enthusiast agree that the Last of the chrome bumper cars were the pinnacle for MGBs Still with the classic chrome bumpers and traditional grill, but with nice upgrades such as an all syncro gearbox, face level vents, more comfortable seats, and an easy to use and better top/top frame.
This example was redone several years ago to a very good standard. Both the mechanicals & cosmetic have been redone to bring it up to a good driver quality restoration. The paint while a few years old, is still in great shape with no damaged areas other than a few small chips etc. There are no signifigant dents, no rust bubbles etc. The interior was completely redone with new carpets, panels and a high quality retrim in leather. A new top was installed as well. Mechanically it was refreshed too with the carbs rebuilt, new fuel and brake systems as well as a host of other items to make sure it was road ready. Recently, I added a rare hardtop as well as Panasport type Minilite wheels and new sports tires.
Perfect? no, of course not. It is after all a 40 year old British Sports car, but for the money, this is a very nice car. You could not even begin to pay to have the work that has been done to this car for the asking price, and that is if you were given the car for free!
