Up for bid is my 1983 ASPT, which is a VW Beetle underneath & much older then 83 model, the body is fiberglass.
This vehicle came out of a estate were it had been sitting for many years, unfortunately it was close to the ocean so there is pitting on all the crome & a tiny dent on the grill which I have shown in the pic.
Since purchasing the car I have done quite a bit of work to her to make it a daily driver again.
Motor runs very strong n has been fixed of all oil leaks, there's been a new fuel tank added & the brakes were repaired aswell.
The body was given a new paint job plus the convertible top was also replaced, however there's a little fadding on the clear window passengers side.
All the electronics work except the radio n the seats have been reupholstered but it still could use some new carpet, odometer shows 9905 miles on it but the title says exempt.
The floor pan on the drivers side needs to be replaced & recently I've needed to double clutch from 1st to 2nd gear, once in 2 nd there's no problem, my mechanic says that it's no major issue.
Overall this little car has been a blast to drive n restore to this point, it's even been in a few photo shoots & one gentleman used it for there wedding but sadly I've gained some weight so getting in n out has gotten almost impossible, so it's sadly become time to move on n lets someone else enjoy.
I have tried to give as much detail as I can remember however please feel free to take a look for yourself or have a 3rd party inspect the vehicle if you have any doubts.
I have myself purchased a few vehicles out of EBay n what I was promised n what actually showed up was something completely different & since I'm looking to keep my rating @ 100% positive feedback, so I'm not going to start telling any tall tales now.
