1953 MGTD has had a frame -off restoration and is offered 95% complete. It is being sold to finalize an estate sale. Restoration has taken 25 years to complete - the body has been mended, wood replaced in the frame and a new deck installed, engine disassembled and rebuilt and carburetors rebuilt. CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN THE RAIN IN 25 YEARSThe car has new - gas line wiring harness muffler and pipes - made in England interior upholstery carpet from original looms misc. chrome pieces canvas top canvas tonneau cover - FULL cover included, but not installed Included with the car is 40 years of misc. spares (most good or rebuildable) 4 large boxes. water pump gas pumps misc. chrome pieces - 5 good hubcaps generator hydraulic lines and fittings cranks wentworth tools original jack lug wrench plus much more Car does not have the canvas side curtains, but does have all the hardware and frames to attach.
It is estimated that the car could be shipped, in a closed transport, to the west coast for about $1800.00.
Car starts easily, but has not been driven extensively.
