Description:

This is a Texas car that I got in on trade. Original plan was to restore this but do to unexpected medical bills I have to sell all of my toys! Title is still in Texas, I never switched over since in PA you have to have to get it inspected within 30 days of transferring and this needs a little work to get inspected. The guy I traded for was in military and put thousands into this car - I have receipts for a lot of it. He moved for military and had it in storage for 2 years and paid for it to be started and moved around. They put in fuel and oil additive as well. When I got it I put in a brand new battery and some fresh fuel and drove it around the neighborhood at about 40mph.
The previous owner had this up to 82mph and drove on highways in Texas (75mph + speed limits) as a daily driver. It has newer tires, paint job, interior carpet, rebuilt engine and more. The seats look like boat seats and should be replaced with original seats. The center counsel (which I removed) looked like it was from Dodge Neon.
The engine is 1200cc but I believe he bored it out to be closer to a 1600cc.
Please note: I only drove this car 5-6 miles around neighborhood a couple of times just to make sure it runs and drives, it's been in storage for last few months. My plan was to restore this then register it and take it to shows and around town. I had another MG we were going to have His and Hers but due to medical bills I have to sell ASAP. I put a new battery in this and it starts up great, I also put fresh premium fuel in it. The oil should still be changed. Some lights don't work, the top is in really rough shape, the speedometer doesn't work either. It has aaaawwoooooooga aftermarket horn and is a blast to drive!
Overall this car has a lot of money into it and just needs some TLC from being in storage for 2 years to get back into great shape. I cannot attest to the mechanical conditions it is best that buyers come see it in person and inspect it. I will upload receipts later today of all work he had done. Thanks, Dan

“This is a semi-project car in fair to good condition. Previous owner put thousands into this car and used as a daily driver, but some of the restoration was very amateur. The seats look like boat seats and should be replaced with stock seats and the center counsel (which I removed everything but the shifter itself) was from dodge neon I believe. Recently rebuilt engine, newer tires, interior carpet, brand new battery and more! Some lights don't work, paint has some scratches/chips especially on driver side and the top is in very bad shape, but previous owner did not use it he drove with top down.”
