This beautiful MG TF1500 was originally imported to New York in Oct. 1954 and then taken back to Europe/Denmark by the present owner, 11 years ago.
The bodywork is in good condition, and the Cream Cracker paintwork is done in old stylish and very thick paint. The Brown Leather Interior was given to the car in 2012. A tasteful color combination attracts admiring looks whenever the car is driven.
Competition Wire Wheels - as the original - painted and with 60 spokes. Undercarriage totally renovated with modern material, and New Brake System, as well as all Electrical Wiring are renewed.
Concerning the engine - you here have a special kind of trimmed version, A State of the Art Renovation - done in 2007 - brought the power up to an excellent performance, making this vehicle a real pleasure to drive. Especially in the high mountain where it really overtake all likewise cars due to the Excellent Torque. (tested to 67, 5 BHP & 111, 5 NM)
Also the car has a well functioning and Fully Synchronized 5 speed Manual Gearbox. Due to the high torque on this car, the treads and wire wheel has been replaced by new after the engine restoration. By the way the engine are balanced out to be within 0, 2 gram of each cylinder... and quite unusual for an MG it almost doesn't leak oil. It use approximately one quarter of a liter for each 4.000 km. which is the distance the owner drive every summer, and mostly in the alps, where the car has climbed almost every mountain pass...
The car has a Brand New Top and Matching Cover as well as New Side Windows.
Including the deal you will get a lot of useful stuff, documentation of history etc..
Supplied with a DK registration certificate, operation manual, and a lot of photo documentation for the renovation works carried out, this charming little car would joy those who loves to ride a wellrunning old-timer.
