1952 MG TD in British Racing Green and Right hand drive. Looks like it was imported from UK in the early 1970's.
It is a MATCHING NUMBERS CAR.
This TD is in very good mechanical condition and starts easily, drives and stops well. As with most of these cars, could do with some attention but in general it is a nice example.
Mechanically it is in good shape with the only major flaw is that it is a little noisy in first gear although it feels fine. It changes smoothly into second, third an fourth and the synchromesh I good changing back down. I recently installed a new fuel pump which became needed as the car would start and run for a minute or two, then stop. Now it runs fine. The air filter is missing but is readily available.
Tires are good and the interior is in nice shape as shown in the photos. The paint is very good with the usual driver scratches etc. There appears to be some paint work done to the rear of the car and although very hard to detect, it is a slightly different shade of BRG.
I am currently working on resolving the lights as they are not working right now. needs some tracing as a wire is hanging down under the dash and needs to be reconnected.
The roof is new in great shape.
I bought this right hand drive car to take back to England but have since found a right hand drive TF which I will probably take instead.
