Clean title in hand and carfax.
2004 Mini Cooper S.

I've owned the car for about a year, really enjoyed it but had to buy an SUV.
It is a hard-to-find, at least in the USA, sunroof-delete car. Also known as a slicktop.
The sunroof adds about 50lbs to the car, way up high, so cars without are popular with track day enthusiasts or just people who prefer a sprightly feeling Mini. I've not tracked the car, I just don't like sunroofs aesthetically.
BODY - Good, does have some small dings from its 12 years of life. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. Badges are faded. Some stone chips in front. But as the pictures show, it is a nice looking car.Stock Wheels - 17 s-lites, more accurately called s-heavies. With dedicated snows with less than 3k miles on them. These rims do have some curb rash. Nexen Winguard Sport M+S. Snows are still on the car because I have not been driving it much the past few months.Sparco - black 17 with Dunlop Direzza DZ102 performance tires. These are almost unmarked and have 75% tread left. It is a big saving getting a car with two sets of wheels.(winner of auction will get both sets of tires, neither are run flats, so a can of fix a flat is in the car)Front license plate bracket - made a custom aluminum plate holder. Looks nice. The plate in the middle of the bumper is a bummer, nice to not have.Black plastic trim - pretty nice, I have always UV protected it
INTERIOR - Would say this overall is an 8 out of 10Seats - leather, tight, heated. Heaters work on both passenger and driver. Slightest fading on driver bolsterFloor Mats - carpet back, official Mini rubber mats frontBoost Guage - has a boost gauge added, the color and location make it appear to be a factory fitHeadliner - This car had the not uncommon sagging headliner, replaced with a plaid fabric, it is a smooth finish fabric like a suit material. Not shiny at all. Stereo - stock Harmon KardonSteering Wheel - has the 3-spoke multi-function wheel with the stereo and cruise controls on itOwners Manual - includedHVAC bulbs - replaced all of these even though only one was out. Cheap but took 3 hrs.Cup holder/phone holder - I thought I would toss this as soon as I got home from buying car, but after using it on the ride home to both hold a water and my phone, I kept it. It just clamps on so you can remove with no marks left behind if you want. It is visible in interior pics next to passenger seatKeys - 1
MECHANICAL - I would give this a 9 out of 10, as there are no current needs.6-speed - shifter is nice and crisp, newer bushingsClutch - replaced approx. 12K miles ago, see receipt image for items replacedTransmission - shifts well in all gears, no grindingEngine - just had oil changed less than 500 miles ago. Usually do my own but paid to have this done to have the receipt to showRear crankshaft seal - replacedDrive Pulley - 15% under drive pulleySupercharger - oil changed (with the boost gauge you can see health of supercharger and effect of pulley)Exhaust - Custom exhaust. Seriously this is the best sounding R53 I have come across. It is a nice, deep sound. Fabricated from twoFlowmaster mufflers. As you can see in pics, the tips are perfectly centered. In the Cooper aftermarket, it sounds closest to a Borla. But I would say even richer.Low-speed Fan - upgraded wiring and resistor, a must have mod done for reliabilityBrakes - stock, in-specEmissions - passed, see picFront Control Arm Bushings - new
Overall, it is a unique, sport-biased Mini. I drove a bunch and this one felt the best of those I tested. With good suspension, clean interior, lack of sunroof and an exhaust that has you looking for tunnels to zip down the windows and enjoy the sound.
If out of state and want to come pick up, I will meet a buyer at White Plains airport or at the Bridgeport or Fairfield, CT metro-north train stations. Will not drive to LGA, JFK or NWK airports. Traffic and all that. A car service from those airports to my town is $150 and 2hrs. Or, you could take the metro-north train and with a taxi to grand central, it would cost $50 and 4 hours.
I will meet with a shipper that you arrange also at the Fairfield train station or fairfield I-95 rest stop. Would be easier for them than coming up to my house on a curvy back road.
