Description:

1969 Oldsmobile 442 Hardtop Beautiful ’69 442! Equipped with AC, power steering, power brakes, Automatic, 3.23 rear end and F41 suspension!
The Oldsmobile 442 started as an option package for the 1964 F-85 but by 1968 had become its own sub-model. The 442 was introduced with the following connotation: 4-barrel carburetor, 4-speed manual transmission and dual exhaust. The car became increasingly comfortable over the years, offering any flavor from mild to wild, all the while doing it in true Oldsmobile luxury. It was very much the banker’s muscle car and 19, 587 found homes in 1969.
We are very excited to offer this 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Hardtop Coupe. This rotisserie restored car is finished in its correct and original color combination of Saffron Yellow over Black bucket seat interior! It is fitted with its original, numbers matching 400ci V8 and Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 transmission. Being an Olds, this 442 is generously equipped with options: air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, F41 suspension, 442 hood stripes, AM/FM radio, center console and 12-bolt rear end with 3.23 gears! The car rides on factory painted wheels wrapped in 225/70R14 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires!
This 442 was restored in the fall of 2012 in Arkansas. Paint and chrome were finished and the original motor and heads were completely rebuilt and reinstalled in the car. Interior pieces like carpet, door panels and electrical were gone through to ensure the car is fully functional. Today, this handsome hardtop fires right up and runs out wonderfully, a testament to the time and effort put into the restoration. The motor pulls very strong and the THM400 shifts smoothly through the gears. This Olds looks great from every angle, even underneath. The engine bay is nicely detailed and the restorer went so far as to include the correct QR engine code sticker on the oil filler neck. With a 3.23 rear end, this car would make for a very enjoyable ride to a show or getaway several hours away. The odometer shows 99, 900 miles, which are perhaps original to the chassis but we have no way of documenting this. We would be happy to answer any additional questions on this awesome 442 Hardtop! We look forward to working with you!
