70's cars are really coming into their own and are the cars being collected today due to their affordability and comfort - convertibles top the list, so buy now or pay more later.
I'm getting some questions about the paint so will try to clarify here rather than answer individually. I don't know if the car has been repainted, I don't think so but some overspray patterns (see pictures of door jams) suggest some partial painting has gone on. Any painting would have been done before Feb, 1977 because the prior owner had done no paint work and owned the car since Feb, 1977.
Bottom line - if you are OK with the car as is (about a 20 footer) drive it and enjoy. I don't think you can touch it up and buff it out with any degree of success if that's what's being asked. That said I feel the condition of the rest of the car far outweighs any of it's paint and minor body issues. If the car didn't need paint I certainly wouldn't be selling it for $6, 350
