A true classic in every sense of the word, this 1968 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Holiday edition 4-door (pillar less) hardtop is the full-size flagship top-of-the-line luxury sedan model of Oldsmobile. Quiet and smooth. Visually beautiful, clearly luxurious, classically elegant. Rocket 455 cubic inch (7.5 L) V8 automatic with 365 horsepower. 74, 500 original miles from new. As pictures clearly show, the car has been meticulously maintained.
The Olds Ninety-Eight Holiday series had the most technologically advanced options made available at the time, such as three-speed turbo-hydramatic automatic transmission with torque converter, the autronic Eye (an automatic headlight dimmer), and Twilight Sentinel (a feature that automatically turns the headlights on and off via a timer, as controlled by the driver). With A/C, power steering, power front disc brakes, 6-way power front seat, power windows, deluxe telescopic & tilt energy-absorbing steering column (un-usual for 1968), with horn control all around the inside of the steering wheel, power release trunk, power antenna, “wonder-bar” AM/FM radio complete with factory optional stereo 8-track player, left remote door mirror, clock, two-speed electric wipers, courtesy and glovebox lamps, chrome door edge guards, and more.
With dual master cylinder, four way flasher, back-up lights, side marker lights, seat & shoulder belts, cross-flow radiator, rear armrest ashtrays, electric clock, special moldings, carpeted trunk. With the highest-grade black cloth and leather interior. Wheelbase: 126 inches, length 223.7 inches (18.5’), width: 80. height 55.8 inches (4.65’). Rear wheel drive. Rear fan defog.
