Up for auction is an original 1970 AMC Javelin SST. I will update the VIN#.
This car sat in the same spot since I delivered newspapers when I was 8 years old.
It is 90% original. The driveline is #'s matching although it is not the high performance option. Drum brakes at all 4 corners. The hood is gone. The original rims are gone. The dash is missing some areas where the radio was removed and a 70's 8 track player was hacked in. The grill has one crack in it and the tail light section has one small chip - I have seen far worse restored. I included two specific areas of rust. Anything can be fixed, you should judge your skill level and budget accordingly. This is a PROJECT, I could do this car but my plate is full.

The car is located in Latham NY. The PayPal deposit is nonrefundable. Full payment for the car is to be expected within 7 days of auction close. Pick up of vehicle 21 days thereafter. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence.
This is NOT a show car. It will require extensive restoration or should you already have a solid shell this car has more then enough parts to help complete another AMC Javelin. The passenger side fender and door were replaced with 1968 panels. The 360 emblem in the picture was added and is NOT original as the car is a 304 2 barrel. There is no paperwork with the vehicle. It was purchased from the ORIGINAL owner and he had neither the time nor interest in finding or replacing the NYS transferable registration. A bill of sale will be provided.
