You are bidding on a 1971 American Motors AMC Javelin SST. 96K original miles, 360 V8 2bbl, automatic, factory A/C (missing the compressor), runs and drives well. Has been repainted but everything else is original, including the blue corduroy interior. Super nice, solid body and undercarriage. There are a few minor dings here and there, but the car is really very nice. Just passed VA state safety inspection. I had this car checked out by a couple of AMC experts, who thought it was a good, honest car that would make a great driver. This is a great way to get into a collector car for under $10K. Gets a ton of attention everywhere I go. These cars are getting harder and harder to find!

| “Nice overall condition and would make a great daily driver. Has a few dents and dings and the paint job is decent but not the best quality. Chrome is original but in nice shape. Stainless is all there and in very nice, original condition. Interior is original and seats have a few splits in the corduroy material that have been covered up by patches. Carpet is faded and should be replaced but not necessary for a driver. Mechanically very strong - Runs, shifts and drives well. Transmission seeps a little fluid when the car sits. The exhaust system is functional but the car really needs a nice set of duals!” |
