Fuzzy Dice Autos is offering for auction a very nice 1966 Sunbeam Tiger MK1A. VIN# B382002230LRXFE JAL# 662239Purchased from a local owner. Had an older restoration. Runs and drives well. Many new suspension parts. Maintains the original 260 CI engine and gearbox. Has a T 10 4 speed. Dana 3.39 Posi traction rear. Engine has a mild makeover. Mild cam, Edelbrock manifold. Holley 600 CFM. CDI Ignition and Accell wires and cap.Stainless Headers. New exhaust from the headers back. All steel brake lines were replaced as were the brake hoses. Car was sitting for a while so brakes should be gone over before blasting down the road. ( Brakes do work, stops etc) New wheel cylinders and shoes come with the car, the originals are not leaking and the shoes appear good. Top is in good condition. Rear window is faded a bit. Interior is in very good overall condition. New seats, carpets. New Bosch Battery. Dash does not appear original, and the instruments have been replaced with Autometer gauges. Mileage on the speedo is 1206, but we do not know the actual miles on the car. The original instruments come with the car. Bumpers appear new. Very nice chrome. Windshield has a star chip and the windshield rubber is dried and cracking. A new windshield and a new windshield rubber come with the car.
Very solid car. Floors and frame are 100% rust free. Paint is older and has defects. I have one picture pointed out but they do not photograph well on a green back round. In summary, this is a real Tiger, not a clone. Has good bones . Very solid. Strong running engine. Tight suspension.Inspections welcome. Bid with confidence.
