1989 Merkur XR4TI WITH 58, 720 original miles.
Car has always been a South Carolina car which means no rust issues. Original owner since new, owner was military technician and after his time in the service opened up his own auto repair shop. so you know the car was taken care better then most.
Car has always been garaged at night at his house and during the day at his shop I believe this is major reason the car is in such good shape
Shows like a new car, with little to no wear, definitely could be a show car or museum piece. This Merkur is loaded with rare options like, but not limited to, Leather, sunroof, Power windows, mirrors, AM/FM, cassette, Heated seats, Power Steering, Cruise control, Rear defogger, Alloy wheels
No dents, dings, noises, or issues

Car is very original but has few upgrades, after market wheels with great tires, stock wheels will come with the car with brand new tires, (one rim can be see in trunk photos.)
Another major upgrade is the turbo, much larger then stock one but the boost has never been over 10psi. turbo has Kevlar turbo blanket to help with heat. (just let you know few things under the hood have been modified to fit the turbo.)
Upgraded exhaust is not very loud just larger size to help with performance
Radiator was replaced with full race aluminum one with electric fans
Also the car will come with original dealer shop repair manual very nice to have and hard to find.
Only issues to note are the windshield is cracked (can be seen in last photo) and Cruise control unit broke some years back and was removed. passenger side is missing small part of the cowl
This car is very rare and gets a lot of attention.
Car is in great shape, I have received a lot of questions about it already. This car could be driven anywhere and drives smoother than most new cars.
