I need to sell my 1941 Packard 160 long wheelbase (138) sedan. This car is in turn key condition and ready to drive anywhere. It's fully sorted out mechanically, the paint isn't perfect but very presentable, interior is excellent, all lights and gauges work correctly--even with turn signals and front seat seatbelts, the Packard 356 cubic inch 9 main bearing engine runs great and so quiet just like a Packard 8 should. Radial WWW tires in excellent shape. Car has OD and works perfect, even the little green OD light works correctly on the dash. Has battery tender hookup custom made so you can hook it up for long periods of non driving without having to get to the battery under the front seat--it's hook up is right up next to voltage regulator. There are tons of receipts with this car from all the engine and other work and the history from the original owner also. The majority of it's life it resided at The Vernon Manor Hotel in Cincinnati Ohio transporting wealthy guests. I have that documented history to go along with the car as well.
My hope was to keep this car for some touring but my main profession is cattle farming and things have gotten tight real quick with dropping cattle prices and I need the money so the car has to go. This car can be driven anywhere, it needs nothing but a new owner. If you know these kinds of classics it would take at least $100K to restore one like it. This one isn't a perfect show car but it is a super nice driver that would win many local shows in it's division with ease. I need to sell ASAP. No secrets, just ask any questions you may have. Personal inspections are welcome. Title is clear and in my name. Most of the 120 sedans I see listed are priced the same or more than my reserve, so bid to buy it because I'm selling it for sure, I have no choice. I can't give it away so please no ridiculous offers, I will listen to serious offers if someone wants to make a buy it now price offer.
This car is the long 138 inch wheelbase and great for touring, huge back seat with tons of leg room. It's a pleasure to drive and so easy to operate.

Parking brake works correctly & good but my driveway is a hill and I don't take chances with a car like this. That's why the wood block behind the rear wheel.
