“G- cut 2xhs”

This plate has all original paint with no restoration of any kind. It is a two-sided tag, and was likely mounted on the front fender of the motorcycle. The plate is cut at the bottom. These front plates had only two mounting holes at bottom center. There is an extra hole in each upper corner. Please see the close-up photos for detail.Size is 8 inches long by 4.5 inches high. These two-sided tags are actually comprised of two separate pieces crimped together back to back. The two sides were often separated into two plates by the original motorists. Additionally, some collectors have been known to take these plates apart, hoping to double their money by selling them as two separate pieces. The one you are looking at now is intact and 100% original, with no monkey business. This is a very scarce item, as only 3,164 motorcycles were registered in Oregon 1n 1921.  Priority Mail shipping is $4.99 in the US.
